Facebook’s latest experiment is a meme-creation app, Whale
The New Product Experimentation team at Facebook has published Whale – an app designed for editing images and creating memes.
Users are able to upload their own pictures or use stock images to edit them by adding text, emojis, and filters.
The app is currently available only in Canada during the testing period.
You can now use Tinder to get involved in general election as well as find a date
Tinder planned to get people involved in UK election. To do so, they added a swiping card in the searching process for UK users.
When swiping right, users will be redirected to register to vote.
Tencent has a new Tinder clone for ‘high quality socializing’
Tencent released its new, Tinder-like app, Qingliao (轻聊, light chat).
The difference of this app is that users are not able to swipe. They need to tap a heart or an Xto like or pass on other users.
The other feature of Qingliao is that it limits the total number of profiles users can see within a certain time period. Men are shown 15 profiles every 18 hours and women can see 22.
