Match Group Q3 Report.

Match Group’s revenue for the third quarter surpassed last year by 18%, totaling about $640 million.

At the same time, operating income amounted to about $200 million, which also surpasses the last year by 14%.

Subscribers climbed up 12% to $10.8 million. Tinder’s net revenue grew up 15% and subscribers 16% to $6.6 million. All other platforms increased revenue by 23%.

Joompa’s new Singapore dating app.

Anisa Hassan, owner of the elite dating service Date High Flyers, decided to create a new app for Muslim members called Joompa.

The basic idea is that the app will provide the safest space for finding long-term relationships. Joompa app does not have “swipe fatigue” features to give users better and more meaningful connections.

Anyone can register in the application for free, but you can use the functions of messaging, video chatting, and other functions only with a paid subscription.

Bogoo launches in Canada.

Bogoo is a dating app for young Chinese people who live in different countries.

The app has been active since 2008 and now it rolls out in Canada.

The app has several handy features:  1) Bogoo Voting Booth – allows users to vote for or against a new user entering the community; 2) Bogoo Moments – allows users to share photos and videos as updates of their life.

As You Are (AYA) is one of the first Indian dating apps for LGBTQ+.

About two years ago, India adopted Article 377 on the decriminalization of homosexuality.

After this event, Sunali Aggarwal came up with the idea of creating a dating app called As You Are (AYA).

In order to register, the user must enter their basic profile data and upload a selfie, for an authenticity check. Every day 60+ people are registered in the app, with the total number being 5000.
