Tinder launches concierge service to save your love life
There are rumors that Tinder on a new feature ‘Concierge‘ that should assist singles in improving their profiles to get more matches.
There is no release date yet, but the cost of the service should be around $20 to “access a team of experts who will help you craft the perfect profile.”
Dating apps in China extremely popular due to shy culture
CEO of China’s largest dating apps Tantan, Wang Yu shared his insights on why dating apps are successful in China with Stephen Cole on The Agenda.
According to him, China’s shy culture makes dating apps a great alternative way for people to meet.
Traditionally, it’s the parents and grandparents who try to find their young singles suitable partners, especially if they are unmarried and approaching the ripe age of 30.

Reddit partners with an SMS hotline to help users expressing suicidal thoughts
Community network Reddit announced its collaboration with Crisis Text Line as part of its suicide prevention tools.
At-risk users will be connected to the resources they need – “Reddit users concerned about another user can flag them for potential self-harm. When they do, Reddit will ask if the reporting user would like Reddit to “reach out” to the affected person. This is where the partnership with Crisis Text Line comes in, as Reddit will reach out to the user to connect them with a counselor from that service.”
