Innovative sexual health program uses popular gay dating apps to get people tested for HIV

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, located in NYC, is the first Medcenter to use popular gay dating apps (Grindr, Jack’d, Scruff) to promote better and safer sexual health.

Staff connects with other app users and offer their sexual health services. According to the center, this program attracted around 300 clients to the facility over past 3 years. And motivated other health clinics to launch similar gay dating apps program.

OkCupid prods daters to ask what truly matters to them in provocative campaign

OkCupid launched its new global marketing campaign “Ask Yourself” to show what’s really matters for them in relationships.

The most popular topic is, of course, voting and politics. Travelling and music become second best topics in 2019.

CMO Melissa Hobley: “What our data shows is that younger daters in particular care deeply about some of the biggest issues of today, and they don’t want this disconnected from their dating experience.”

Startups working with Artificial Intelligence started selling pictures and images of computer-generated people.

Due to AI creating human faces after it was trained on massive databases of real people’s photos, the created images are very life-like and can hardly be identified as fakes.

This type of images allows a lot of companies to create their ads and models without needing real human beings.

AI experts, however, worry that the fakes will empower a new generation of scammers.
