That competitor is Hinge, which was acquired by Match Group in 2018.
Hinge’s statistics show that its revenue has grown by 88% from last year, while Tinder’s revenue at the same time grew by only 15%.
People are tired of Tinder, they need something new.
So after Match Group acquired Hinge, which promotes itself as anti-Tinder, the number of subscribers has grown from about 35,000 to 400,000 in 2020.
Levity is a communication app for Canadian students
Levity is a dating app for students from Canadian educational institutions.
The app was launched in Kelowna, Canada in 2019, but is now getting popular in British Columbia.
A social approach is used to bring students closer together. Users should invite friends and vote for couples to customize their potential matches and help other people. Moreover, the application is open to the activities of professional matchmakers who can create potential matches through the application.
