A new dating app called FFWD (Fast-Forward) Dating, which is currently in beta, aims to address the dissatisfaction singles feel with the inauthenticity of traditional dating profiles by introducing in-app video profiles.

According to a survey conducted by Wakefield Research for FFWD, 78% of singles believe that photos and text in dating profiles do not accurately reflect a person’s personality, and 83% are put off by the use of AI in profiles.
